Stage-loving kids can explore the magic of the theatrical arts next week by spending their fall break at The Theater Bug. The children’s theater company has two fall break camps running Oct. 3 – 7, and there are a handful of spots still open.

In this intro to theater, kids will learn about auditions, the rehearsal process and what it’s like to be a part of a Theater Bug show through games, music, dance and acting.

Kids will explore some of the most impactful musicals and how they used history to tell their stories through songs, dances and scenes from the shows. Shows may include Hamilton, Hairspray, West Side Story, Grease, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Wicked. Participants will also experiment with improv skills along with character and story creation.
Financial aid is available for each camp.
