Singer, songwriter Day is quickly emerging as one of pop’s most exciting new acts. He has already amassed more than a quarter of a billion global streams and 7+ million social followers. He signed to Arista Records in 2021.
Day unveiled his debut LP, Love Me for Another Day, last October. The singer embarked on the album’s self-titled sold-out tour, spanning across select cities from the U.S., including Salt Lake City, Los Angeles and Europe. For this summer and fall’s The Golden Years tour, Day will travel with Bassett to 24 U.S. cities before heading over seas for 16 European venues.
In 2020, the singer left Brentwood High School for Season 15 of the America’s Got Talent stage, advancing to the Quarterfinals. His brutally honest songwriting about the growing pain of experiencing a first heartbreak and leaving home resonated with thousands of viewers, before his elimination in the semifinals. After the show, he returned home to his kicking position for Brentwood High. But he also started holing up in his room and began serious songwriting having decided music was his future.

“I’ve been doing music for my entire life,” Day says. “I started playing piano when I was 5 and I did musical theater, too. I started sort of accidentally songwriting when I was in the 5th grade, actually! When my music started taking off on TikTok, and beyond, it was super, super exciting!”
