Where Every Family Matters

Touch-A-Truck Coming Oct. 21

“Look, Mom! It’s a backhoe!” And no, it's not a construction site ... it's Touch-A-Truck!

If you’ve got little kids, then you’ve gone through — or perhaps are still going through — a truck phase. That’s why Touch-A-Truck is so much fun. Trucks of all shapes and sizes on display for the touching, climbing on and clanging! You may not think it’s cool to hang around a parking lot filled with rigs of all shapes and sizes, but your child sure will.

ACTIVITIES & CONCESSIONS, TOO

Head to Thompson’s Station Church at 2604 Thompson’s Station Road E. on Saturday, Oct. 21 for the fun outing running from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Williamson County Parks and Rec sponsors the day. It’s free, old-fashioned fun all oriented around what your child likes best. But don’t kid yourself — it’s fun to climb up there in a tractor and feel the power behind that wheel! Look at, climb on and sound the bells and whistles on nearly 30 different kinds of construction and public service vehicles. Kids can also paint a toy vehicle to take home and take a ride on the D & H Railroad for $1. Enjoy entertainment, concessions and the fall weather outside!
