TPAC Partners with Studio Tenn for ‘Cabaret on Stage’ Series

Broadway stars back on the stage in Music City — along with YOU!

TPAC and Studio Tenn Present Cabaret On Stage | TPAC®Tennessee Performing Arts Center and Studio Tenn Theatre Company are teaming up to bring some BIG Broadway names back to the Nashville stage with Cabaret on Stage kicking off with Susan Egan on May 15. at TPAC's Polk Theatre. Theater heads will know her for originiating the role of "Belle" in Broadway's Beauty and the Beast (1994). However, '90s kids may know her better as the voice of "Meg" in Disney's 1997 film, Hercules

The cabaret series will feature other world-class performers — such as Adam Pascal (Rent)Shoshana Bean (Hairspray) and Norm Lewis (Chicago Broadway revival) — with the audience seated and socially distanced on the stage alongside the performer.

“I can’t think of a better partner to reemerge from the pandemic with than TPAC," says Studio Tenn’s Artistic Director Patrick Cassidy. "We are beyond excited about this partnership and the cabaret series.”

  • An Intimate Evening with Susan Egan, Saturday, May 15 | 8 p.m.
  • An Intimate Evening with Adam Pascal, Saturday, June 12 | 8 p.m.
  • An Intimate Evening with Branden & James, Saturday, July 17 | 8 p.m.
  • An IntimateEvening with Shoshana Bean, Saturday, August 21 | 8 p.m.
  • An Intimate Evening with Norm Lewis, Saturday, September 4 | 8 p.m

New safety protocols to expect when returning to TPAC:

  • Patrons will be required to wear a mask at all times
  • Air filtration systems are updated to improve ventilation in public spaces
  • Enhanced hygiene, sanitation, and cleaning protocols before and after the performances
  • Social distancing encouraged in restrooms, elevators, and other public areas where appropriate
  • Touchless hand sanitizer stations available throughout the building
  • When feasible, a touchless environment will be available in restrooms, concessions, merchandise and Box Office
