Infant massage is a combination of Indian and Swedish massage strokes and presses that release tension and stimulate circulation toward the heart. Infant massage provides a relaxing and positive touch experience, soothing areas of discomfort and activating nerve endings for growth and development. For babies, infant massage is an opportunity to become intimately acquainted with the smell and touch of your skin, initiate and engage in eye contact, and develop a deep emotional connection. During the instruction, you will learn to understand and respond to Baby’s cues and offer techniques to comfort, calm and soothe your infant.
