Pinkerton Park in Franklin pumps up the fun for families on Wednesdays in June and July with FREE Kids Days. Here's what's coming up:
KIDS SHOWS: WILDLIFE WEDNESDAY
Wednesday, June 12
9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Kick off the summer with The Nashville Zoo's Wildlife on Wheels during Franklin Parks' first Kids Day of the summer. Bring a blanket and watch the animal show on the main stage. Light snacks will be provided.
KIDS SHOWS: FAIRY TAIL BY THE TRAIL
Wednesday, June 26
9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
This is a storytime for kids who love princesses, complete with singing, princess character appearances and light snacks.
KIDS WATER DAY
Wednesday, July 24
9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Kids can participate in water relays, play with water balloons, enjoy water slides and more. Bring your swimsuit and a beach towel — don't forget the sunscreen!
Volunteers Needed!
The City of Franklin seeks volunteers for Kids Water Day on Wednesday, July 24. Volunteers help set up the water stations and run them during the event. Ages 14 and older can sign up now to volunteer for the days' events. Volunteers need to be available from 7 a.m .- 1 p.m. that day.
