Where Every Family Matters

Wanna Spoon Cereal Bar for Gatherings and Events

Do your kids love cereal? Do you love getting out of the house? Head to Nashville's only cereal bar in the 12 South area.

Never underestimate the power of a good, old bowl of Froot Loops. At least they don’t at Wanna Spoon Cereal Bar, located at 111 Caruthers Ave. in the 12 South area of Nashville. Wanna Spoon is a coffee house that prides itself on being Nashville’s first cereal bar and is self-described on the company website as “a great place to take your kids or for your next date night out.” Aside from cereals and signature coffees, the business also serves ice cream and toppings, milk shakes and specialty cereal concoctions like S’More Please (Golden Grahams, Cocoa Puffs, mini marshmallows and chocolate syrup) and The Elvis (Reese’s Puffs, Cocoa Pebbles, banana slices and honey) and others.

Wanna Spoon Cereal Bar for Get Togethers + Events

Wanna Spoon is the brainchild of Kira Lynn, a musician who just so happens to love cereal. It’s a gathering spot that includes murals for photo ops and a backyard for birthday parties and other gatherings. Wanna Spoon also offers events like the upcoming (and free) “Mom’s Morning Playdate” on Feb. 1 and 16 at 9:30 a.m. In addition — through a collab with Butterfly Bakehouse Custom Cookies — a “Valentine Cookie Workshop” on Monday, Feb. 12 to try your hand at decorating cookies ($65 a person; register at Butterfly Bakehouse).
