WCPR Offers Spring Lifeguard Courses

Kids must be 15 years of age on or before the final day of the course to get certified as a lifeguard for Williamson County.

 

Teens interested in getting certified as a lifeguard can sign up for spring classes offered by Williamson County Parks and Recreation (WCPR) beginning at the end of this month. American Red Cross Lifeguard Training courses will be offered during the following weeks for the different rec centers:

LONGVIEW RECREATION CENTER
2909 Commonwealth Drive., Spring Hill: Registration begins Saturday, Feb. 8 at the center.
Course offered Feb. 21 – 25

BRENTWOOD INDOOR SPORTS COMPLEX
920 Heritage Way, Brentwood
Course offered March 3 – 8: Registration begins Saturday, Feb. 15
Course offered March 16 – 19: Registration begins Saturday, March 7

FRANKLIN RECREATION COMPLEX
1120 Hillsboro Road, Franklin
Course offered March 9 – 11: Registration begins Saturday, Feb. 22
Course offered March 16 – 19: Registration begins Saturday, Feb. 29

NOTE: Registration is in person only! Each class is limited to 10 participants. Kids must be 15 years of age on or before the final day of the course. Cost of the course is $125.
