Guests 21 and up can enjoy adult beverages at The Discovery Center for their annual fundraiser.

Guests can enjoy samples of a variety of whiskeys, wines and spirits.  The event is for ages 21 and up and will feature more than 150 local and craft beverages provided by Stones River Total Beverages. Food will be available for purchase.

“Wine & Whiskey is one of our favorite adult events that we host at the Discovery Center,” says President and CEO of the Discovery Center Tara MacDougall.  “It’s a fun and unique opportunity for members of the community who may not be familiar with our facilities and programming to become aware of our mission and join us in supporting our youth. It also allows us to interact and connect with many of our longtime supporters,” she adds.

All proceeds from Wine & Whiskey benefit the Discovery Center and their programming.  Tickets are available for purchase on the museum’s website and are $35 in advance, $40 at the door, and $15 for designated drivers.  The Discovery Center also offers a $60 ticket bundle when guests purchase Wine & Whiskey tickets along with tickets for the museum’s Shakesbeer event in May.

In preparation for the event, the Discovery Center will close at 1 p.m. the day of.  Normal museum hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
