Breathe in, breathe out, and make your way to Historic Rock Castle this Sunday, Oct. 14 for the first-ever Tennessee Yoga Festival. Sumner County Tourism, My Hot Yoga Place and Salt MedSpa of Hendersonville present the day dedicated to yoga.
The festival features six 40-minute sessions:
• Super Beginners Yoga (11 a.m.)
• Sweet Vinyasa (12 p.m.)
• Trauma-Conscious Yoga (1 p.m.)
• Beginner Plus Yoga (2 p.m.)
• Yoga Express (3 p.m.)
• All Level Slow Flow (3:50 p.m.)
Additional yoga sessions include Buti Yoga, Belly Dancing with Tula Tribe, Qigong, Kids’ Yoga, Chair Yoga and drum circle activities.
The festival takes place from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m; gates open at 10:30 a.m. Live entertainment will take place throughout the day. Two food trucks will be on site — Don Miguel Juicery + Rustic Kitchen and Rakka & Roll of Cafe Rakka.
In addition, the first 5o paying guests at the Tennessee Yoga Festival will receive a complimentary ticket to a goat yoga session led by Shenanigoats of Nashville.
Historic Rock Castle is located at 139 Rock Castle Lane, Hendersonville. Tickets are $10 adults, free ages 11 and younger. Tickets do not include tours of the mansion. Those tickets are available for an additional fee; mansion tours will be at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.
