You and your kids of all ages can have fun dancing and enjoy live tunes during the Nashville Zoo’s inaugural Heritage Music Festival taking place on Saturday, Sept. 17.
Local history and music come together during the Heritage Musical Festival which honors the zoo’s history with Americana-style music on the front lawn of the Grassmere home while living history demonstrations happen on the back lawn.
The main stage features music by Jeff Black, Luke Amelang, Grasstime, The Danberrys and others. There’s a kids’ stage, too, where youngsters can enjoy The Happy Racers, Bill Crosby, an animal show and storytelling.
The Heritage Music Festival takes place from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and is included with zoo admission ($16 adults, $11 ages 2 – 12).
