The ZooRunRun the ZooRunRun!
With the snow long gone, join the herd this Saturday, January 30 when the postponed ZooRunRun at last takes place at the Nashville Zoo (3777 Nolensville Pike in Nashville)! The ZooRunRun helps to support the day-to-day operations of the Zoo. Due to the postponement, registration is still taking place. Register for the ZooRunRun Now! Family participants who don’t want to run can stroll instead, and children 4 and under are free with no registration required; little ones in a stroller can enjoy the day too.
Here’s what to expect:
In the ZooRunRun, runners and walkers take a 5K trail through the Zoo’s property, including areas not available to the public. Some of the race will be timed (interested registrants can purchase a tracking chip). The Zoo closes at 1 p.m. in order to prepare for the 1:30 p.m. registration and check-in.
