1. “THE MAGIC FLUTE” — Saturday, Dec. 2 only

The Metropolitan Opera made history in 2006 when it presented its first Live in HD production to cinemas worldwide. It was the abridged English-language version of Mozart’s The Magic Flute, with the production by Julie Taymor, the director/conceptualizer of Broadway’s The Lion King. That means elaborate puppetry, costumes and lights and unbelieveable artistry from Metropolitan Opera singers. Now you can bring your family to see the production during its encore presentation this holiday season. SHOW: Saturday, Dec. 2 only. Get tickets here.

2. “MAX LUCADO’S BECAUSE OF BETHLEHEM” — Tue., Wed., Thu., Dec. 5 – 7


Inspired by Lucado’s bestselling book, you and your family can experience the Christmas story from a different perspective. Originally filmed at Nashville’s Fisher Center on the campus of Belmont University, children of all ages will learn that the spirit of Christmas is much more than a tree with presents piled beneath it. 3. “CHRISTMAS WITH THE CHOSEN: HOLY NIGHT” — Dec. 12 – 17

Experience Jesus’ birth through the eyes of Mary and those of a shepherd boy considered “unclean.” Christmas With the Chosen blends episodes of  “The Messengers” and “The Shepherd” into one special remastered, rescored story.
