Your family can mark your calendars for a fun theater outing in Sumner County next month when Hendersonville Performing Arts Center presents The Hobbit. Originally scheduled to open on Friday, March 20, the show is now taking the stage April 24 – May 3.
Based on J.R.R. Tolkien's classic novel, Patricia Gray's stage adaptation focuses on Bilbo, one of the most conservative of all Hobbits, who is asked to leave his large, roomy and very dry home in the ground in order to set off as chief robber in an attempt to recover an important treasure.
Showtimes are Thu – Sat 7:30 p.m., Sun 2 p.m. Tickets are $18 adults, $15 seniors/college students/children.
HPAC is located at 260 W. Main St., Ste. 204, Hendersonville. Call 615-826-6037 or visit hpactn.com.
