Little kids can learn their letters and numbers in a fun way through the Pioneer Pals program. Historic Mansker's Station and the City of Goodlettsville host the preschool program for ages 3 – 5. The fall program runs Thursdays, Sept. 5 – Nov. 7, and you can register now for all installments.

A story, songs and a water activity will help children to experience life at Old McDonald's farm while learning the letter F and number 1.
Thursday, Sept. 12: The Very Busy Spider
Spiders can seem scary to many people. Learn what they do through story and song while exploring letter S and number 2.
Thursday, Sept. 19: Little Red Hen
Discover why it's good to be a helper during this hands-on class while learning letter H and number 3.
Thursday, Sept. 26: Stellaluna
Discover the world of bats through games and crafts while learning letter B and number 4.
Thursday, Oct. 3: People in the Neighborhood
Learn about firefighters, doctors, nurses, police, teachers, chefs and others who make up a neighborhood while learning letter P and number 5.
Thursday, Oct. 10: Where the Wild Things Are
Wear wild, crazy clothes for a while adventure while learning letter W and number 6.
Thursday, Oct. 17: Native Americans
Explore real life Native American items, hear stories, make crafts and learn about letter A and number 7.
Thursday, Oct. 24: Fall Fun
Celebrate autumn by exploring its smells, pumpkins and stories while learning letter P and number 8.
Thursday, Oct. 31: Party Time!
Wear your Halloween costumes and enjoy face painting, temporary tattoos, dress-up fun, party activities and more.
Thursday, Nov. 7: Thanksgiving
Talk about why you're thankful while learning about turkeys, pilgrims, letter T and number 9.
Each session is $2 per child.
