Don’t forget, gallery admission is always free for guests ages 18 and younger!

Calling all artsy families! The Frist Art Museum if officially launching Family Sundays on the second Sunday of each month beginning August 14, 2022. The new series includes family tours, multisensory gallery experiences and a visit to the Martin ArtQuest Gallery.

Family Tours meet at the Ingram Gallery Information Desk at 1:15 p.m. Multisensory Exploration Stations are available from 1 to 3 p.m. in selected exhibitions, offering opportunities to touch, smell and listen to materials and objects of varying textures, aromas and sounds.

And finally, the interactive Martin ArtQuest Gallery is open every Sunday from 1 to 5:30 p.m. with activities relating to a selected exhibition — currently, Knights in Armor. Visitors can design tournament shields, fashion horse armor, animate mythical creatures, build block castles and more.
