Where Every Family Matters

Gallatin Announces Inaugural Scarecrow Hunt

Grab the family, get in the car, take a drive, get out and walk, and HUNT for all 38 Scarecrow exhibits around Gallatin, Tennessee.

The Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce is helping the community celebrate the fall season with the inaugural Gallatin Scarecrow Hunt. The hunt includes 38 hand-crafted scarecrow exhibits designed to delight visitors with straw and non-straw creations of all kinds, all around town.

Scarecrow artists are all ages and include businesses, churches, non-profits, schools, students, and civic groups. Scarecrow “hunters” are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture their favorite scarecrows, shop and dine local, and most of all, have fun on the hunt! Those enjoying the hunt are encouraged to use #GallatinChamber and #GallatinScarecrowHunt when posting your photos to social media.

The scarecrow hunt can also be completed virtually. The Gallatin Scarecrow Hunt album, which includes a list of scarecrow locations, details on the design, and the artists, is available on the Gallatin Area Chamber’s Facebook page at https://tinyurl.com/ScarecrowHuntAlbum.

Community members are encouraged to vote for their favorite Scarecrow in the "Gallatin Scarecrow Hunt 2020" photo album on the Gallatin Chamber Facebook page by liking and commenting on your favorite. Vote by Nov. 5. Winners will be announced on Nov. 7.

Grab the family, get in the car, take a drive, get out and walk, and HUNT for all 38 Scarecrow exhibits around Gallatin, Tennessee. Explore and enjoy these beautiful fall days.
