HPAC Presents J.R.R. Tolkien’s ‘The Hobbit’

With social distancing and other CDC guidelines in place, Hendersonville Performing Arts Center is moving forward with their June production.

The show WILL go on: Hendersonville Performing Arts Center has announced that their rescheduled production of J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit" will go on as planned. "The Hobbit" will run Friday, June 19 through Sunday, June 28 with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 for students/seniors/children and $18 for adults.
    Social distancing measures will be in place for the security of all performers, beginning with ordering tickets online. At the theater, non-contact temperatures will be taken and, following the CDC recommended guidelines,patrons will be seated immediately so there is no lobby gathering.
    "The Hobbit" is a full-length play based on the classic story "The Hobbit," the first of Tolkien's "ring" stories.
