Safe and Sounds at Home

The Nashville Sounds offer virtual baseball fun during these stay-at-home days.

Since Minor League Baseball games are suspended for the time being during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Nashville Sounds provides virtual entertainment through its Safe and Sounds at Home campaign.

The campaign starts Thursday, April 9 in place of the originally scheduled opening day game against the Iowa Cubs. It will continue until Minor League Baseball announces the start of the 2020 season and games return to First Horizon Park.

During Safe and Sounds at Home, the Sounds will participate in "MLB The Show" simulations complete with highlight reels and Player of the Week awards. It also allows fans to participate in their favorite in-game entertainment options with virtual showings of the First Horizon Country Legends Race, First Horizon Kids Run the Bases and Friday Fireworks shows.

“During this extremely difficult time for people around the world, we want to do our part to encourage everybody to stay home if at all possible,” says Sounds General Manager Adam Nuse. “Safe and Sounds at Home gives our fans the feeling of being at First Horizon Park as much as possible until we get started. We want to encourage our fans to interact as much as possible and help make the best out of this unfortunate situation.”
