Wear your greenest attire or St. Patrick's costume, and get your blood flowing during the Gallatin Shamrock Run 5K & 10K on Saturday, March 14.
The Gallatin Chamber hosts the run taking place at Downtown Square. Proceeds benefit the Gallatin Chamber Foundation, a nonprofit that will use the funds for innovative educational grants for K – 12 teachers in Gallatin.
The course is primarily flat, so its inclusive of runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. The 5K course has an expected completion time of 60 minutes while the 10K's finish time is 90 minutes.
Registration for the 5K is $35; the 10K is $45 for individuals. Teams require a minimum of five people, and registration is $30 per person/$40 per person for the 5K/10K respectively.
On race morning, registration will open at 6:30 a.m., with the 10K starting at 7:15 a.m. and the 5K beginning at 7:30 a.m. All runners/walkers must finish by 9 a.m. The start location is Gallatin City Hall (132 W. Main St., Gallatin).
