“Tinsel & Treasures” Holiday Open House This Weekend in Gallatin

The Tinsel & Treasures Holiday Open House is Saturday, November 14, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday, November 15th, from Noon until 5 p.m.

A long-standing Gallatin tradition will help local shoppers get ready for the holidays before the rush begins.  The annual Holiday Open House is Saturday and Sunday, November 14th and 15th at businesses throughout the Gallatin community.

Now in the 49th year, “Tinsel & Treasures” features 28 different shopping destinations as well as over 30 artisan booths at two Merry Market locations including Historic Stonewall and the Gallatin Farmers Market. “Tinsel & Treasures” opens at 10am Saturday, November 14th at retailers throughout Gallatin. Businesses will be decorated for the holidays and will keep shoppers entertained with music, special events, and refreshments. Many will offer special discounts for this weekend.

“It’s an honored tradition of many decades,” says Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce CEO, Kim Baker. “Just like the day after Thanksgiving is recognized as a big shopping day, the second weekend in November kicks off the holiday season in Gallatin.”

Shopping passes to all of the businesses are available at each of the participating locations.  All who shop the open house may register at any participating business to win Tinsel & Treasures shopping sprees, valued at over $1,000.  Many businesses will also be giving away door prizes to their shoppers. The first 60 shoppers to make a purchase at any of the participating retailers will receive a limited edition Shop Gallatin tote bag packed full of local information and offers.
