From the top of a single 190-foot tower, riders can drop, dive and dangle in the middle of the Mountain Mile, a growing entertainment complex with shopping and dining available, too. This new state-of-the-art thrilling experience offers three levels of extreme fun for dare devils.
1. Mountain Monster
The most intense of the three new tower rides, this aerial dive ride drops two passengers on an open-air seat from atop a 175-foot platform. It swings you out over the complex at 65 mph. You get to the top with a ride on a two-seat chair lift. The 10-minute thrill ride raises you back up to the tower platform where you ride the chair lift back to the bottom. There is a surprise bonus option for riders once they are returned to the platform, too.
2. Monster Fall
This eight-passenger freefall experience slowly raises you to the top of the 190-foot tower, where you get a birds-eye view of the surrounding Pigeon Forge valley. You are then suspended at the top for up to 12 seconds to build anticipation. Then, without warning, it drops you from the top of the tower as you reach speeds up to 52 mph before coming to a smooth stop at the bottom.
3. Monster Launch
This unique, wide-open two-person saddle seat design gives the sensation of complete exposure. Riders sit back-to-back and are “slung” 140 feet straight up into the air. For an added thrill, you have the option to add a heart-stopping flip at the top. Are you ready for that?
Purchase video proof of your daring expience for $15 each video. There’s also a grand opening special that includes all-day unlimited access to The Monster Fall and The Monster Launch for just $30, and the Mountain Monster is available for half price at $20 (must purchase Grand Opening Special to get Mountain Monster at that price). General admission to the Monster Fall is $15 per person, the Monster Launch is $25 per person and the Mountain Monster is $40 per person.
