A popular summer education program for kids is set to resume in June at Historic Mansker's Station in Goodlettsville, but keep in mind that anything can change between now and then based on what happens with COVID-19 in the coming weeks.
Way Back Wednesdays is open to kids 8 – 14. It takes place from 10 – 11:30 a.m. and includes a brief history lesson with a hands-on activity. Admission is $5 and advance register is required. The program runs June 10 – July 15. Here's the lineup:
June 10: Paint Day
Dress for a mess and have fun painting a variety of craft projects.
June 17: Fleece and Felt Day
Create crafts using felt.
June 24: Yarn Day
Create art projects using yarn.
July 1: Food Day
Create jewelry and crafts using a variety of food.
July 8: Popsicle Day
Make an assortment of crafts using popsicle sticks.
July 15: Water Game Day
Play lots of games that will get you wet!
